Freddie Mac’s weekly rate survey shows the average rate on a 30-year fixed-rate loan was 6.87% for the week ending February 13. That’s a change of just 0.02 percentage points from a week ago. Rates have remained fairly stable over the past few weeks, giving some buyers a chance to lock in a favorable rate.
